I was experimenting with the lights on my new King Quad and turning the key on and off with the engine NOT running. Each time after i turned it off there was a soft rapid clicking noise, not very loud--kind of like a machine gun but obviously no where near as loud.

Is this normal?

BTW I know it makes sounds when you turn the key on (my 919 does too) but I am talking about when you turn it off, engine was not running at the time.

Mine does it.

 

Its normal,its your fuel pump relay,all of them do that.
