Thanks for the replies guys. Sounds pretty good, but damn it's heavy.

Default King Quad 300?

I picked one up for my dad a few months back (see the link in my sig for pics). Fun 'little' machine. My dad has used it quite a bit around his house. He was able to keep up for the most part on a bunch of trails we rode this last summer. Best way for me to describe it is it runs like a semi. You have to shift alot to get up to speed and to stay in the power. With the diff-lock, low range and super low range, it will go over probably more things than my Eigers will.

Default King Quad 300?

Hehehe Has anyone mentioned it needed more power? I had one from 92-95. Had ZERO probs with it. It has around 3000 miles on it when i got rid of it. It did need wheel bearings when i traded it..but it lived its entire life sumped to the fenders in mud so it done pretty well. That thing was extremely comfy to ride. As other have said...would probably pulla mountain. Good solid bikes. I think they made this same bike with a 400 motor on it a couple years didnt they? I always thought that woulda been the ultimate atv with some more ummmphh. I traded that on the bike I have now.....so I have always liked the slower heavier built bikes. My 400 has a ton of power but geez is it ever geared low. Only thing that aggracted me with the KQ was the front end was a little light for my liking. I flipped it several times but couldnt hurt it....good bike!
