z 250 gas tank

z 250 gas tank
i rolled my 250 like a week ago and after ridin today i noticed that the body piece connected to the gas tank popped out. i cant pop it back in, i can see that it has to hook back in but it wont. anyone had this problem. i dont wanna buy all new plastics
