Hey you Canadian's what the best KQ price you can find?
I had to try and focus on the Canadian's on the site since I'm stuck buying a King Quad up here in the frozen north. I'm in Winnipeg and the very BEST price I can find is $9900.00 (Cdn) with a warn 2500 winch and 6 month warranty, ready to be ridden out the door.
I would of course still have to pay Provinicial Sales tax (PST = 7%)) and Goods and Services Tax (GST+7%) on that so.....$11286.00.....ouch.......
I see that many of our American cousins are paying about $6500-$7500 USD.....even with the exchange of 1.2 and PST and GST on that its still between....$8892 - $10260 (Cdn $).......seems that our Canadian dealers are charging a premium for the machines....I even checked with Canada Customs....for the 2005 machines the duty is only 6%...it will be duty free in 2006 since the machines are being built in the USA.......I have checked the prices in Winnipeg and Kenora....like I say the very best price, and this was after much yakking, was $9900......can you reply with a local price in your area if you know it and tell me where you are....I can travel as far west as Calgary or east as far as Toronto for a better deal...RSVP....Thanks....Tim [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

The price you mentioned I believe is the same in Sudbury. The only thing I could see if a local dealer is trying to make room for the 2006 models, if you can find an 05 you might be able to wheel a deal maybe. But then again if you won't pay the sticker price they know someone will come in behind you and pay it. I did hear of some dealers earlier in the yr clearing out Twin Peaks in southern ontario. Some guys in that area could probally comment better on that.
