Didn't Get A Winch??
#3
Did the dealer come down several hundred on the KK? Usualy you must pay close to retail to get the winch, as the dealer still has to pay for the winch. When I purchased my Eiger last month, he came down a good chunk from retail. Dealer explained he could sell me bike for this amount & sell me the winch, or I pay near retail & get the $69 winch deal. It was $79 cheaper to buy Eiger outright & then purchase winch seperate, so I went that route. Either that or he was just too lazy to do paperwork on the winch deal.

Talked to the dealer yesterday. Said they "were not" participating dealers. Said they would have had to buy 5-8 winches which hurts their wallet if prospective buyers don't take the suzuki financing option. They loose money in the end.

devildog1, I personally think this one is easy. You have a huge leg to stand on because you have been disappointed by them already before even buying anything and they know this! I would tell them that you had your heart set on the $69 winch deal and since they are a Suzuki dealership but can't offer that then they NEED to give you a great deal on a KQ. Cut through the bs and tell them what you are willing to pay and that they can take it or leave it......end of story.

yeah, should have maybe negotiated that prior to the purchase.....
Anyway, congrats on the atv though....at least you have that! That is the reason we are all here discussing different items....did you ride many before buying the KQ (on the big bore side) or go with it based off all the good things you've heard?
