i know my friends z400 goes 80 my cousins 400ex piped jetted can beat it in long run

is he saying it is stock, the only way to hit 80 is to put a cdi on it and 1 larger sprocket in the front,

Who cares if he can go 80mph. The type of gears it would take to do it he would need about 5mi to get there!

Wow. Quads are not allowed by the manufacturers to go more than about 75. Does anyone know how fast 80 really is on a atv? When do you ride at 80 anyways?

then there is no way it goes 80, stock they do 70-71 at most, i live near a drag racing track, mine did 70.7 stock and now it goes 76 with mods

Yea he is full of bs! ther is not a stock out there that will do 80. We have tried my gps on a KFX700,Banshee, alba Yamaha450, Suzuki ltr450, and none have come close to doing 80.
