top speed with the z400

ok ok ok..... did someone say that a STOCK 400 goes over 80 mph?????? how old is this kid that is making this claim..... has he ever drivin anything 'legally' that goes over 80mph... much less than a quad....
I'm calling BS here... especially since it's a KNOWN fact that the stock 400ex is several hp slower then the stock Z400, by Honda's own admission....
This sounds like a conversation that made it's way from the high school lunch line to the internet......
It's does generate good conversation though, doesn't it guys.......
I personally have seen banshees/quadzillas go way over 75mph during organized drag races.... But these were all very high end/pro built machines.... but never something stock....

haha no joke. unless youre gonna build a full on drag bike youll never be at 80 railin jumps. mine hit 86 and then 83 though . depended on which direction i was headed.

theres no way it is stock unless you are going on a giant downhill. Or in another case my little brothers trx250ex goes 85 when in is in the back of my dad's truck</end quote></div>
Dont get revved up. There is always someone saying that their quad can grow wings and fly.lol

Hey jsut a disclaimer for me, that last post from me was calculated not measured in real life. It was done on a gearing calculator that takes into account the gearing, tire size, and rpm. So it may take a mile to reach that speed. I def wouldn't reach that speed riding in the trails.

It's not so much that I'd like to see the quad go 80 as much as I'd like to see them make a 90º right without braking.
