I've got a 86 quadsport with a high comp wiesco, white bros. cam, super trap pipe&silencer 30mm mikuni, and It runs pretty hot, wondering if anybody has one of these with an oil cooler on it, if so can you get some pics so I know where to hook it up and what I need fo a cooler.

Fst makes an oil cooler for the qsport but i think its like a 140 bucks for it. Ive never really looked over where the oil lines are on the qsport but on my lakota there is a tee right on top of the case that i could tap into and just use a tranny cooler off of a car to cool my oil but im not sure if it would work on the quadsport.
Oh and what grind is your cam? (ie mid to top or bottom to mid or all around)

CYNIDE, I dont remember what the carb came off, I think it was off an old dirt bike. any carb will work as long as its jetted properly, the only other trouble is getting it to fit in the airbox boot.
