The Yoshi stroker kit comes completes w/ piston anyway.. The Yoshi kit is a 2mm overbore and 5mm stroke.. Mybro has a Yoshi 450.. You can't put what RMATV sells inside the Yoshi kit.. The biggest difference in my Athena which is ported and the Yoshi which isn't is the lowend. The Yoshi has more grunt out of the hole, but doesn't rev as well on top.. When the Yoshi gets ported it will beat the Athena in every way.. How fast do you want to spend is always the final answer..

I have the athena 434 kit, with a TM36mm carbu and Pro design, proflow kit, no, hotcams.

I'm testing a custome made CDI, so a couple of months ago I did a Dyno run, here 's the result, measured power is not at the engine, but at the wheels (don't mind the torque mentioned, this isn't correct)

The lowest curve is from the original CDI, the onter one is the modded one (It goed until about 10500 rpm)

haha heres some numbers, i looked into yosh 450 kit as well, kit with pro series pipe (CF canister, Ti header) is 2000 bucks, without exhaust is around 1400. Yosh website says kit puts 50hp to rear wheels. www.yoshimura-rd.com

hey so that buddy that blew up the top end. there putting 1mm oversized valves in the head to make up for all the damage. its ported. and there taking the bore up to 94.5 mm. with his fcr 39 is that going to wake his bike up pretty good? what you guys think?

I will be going with the Athen. I can do all the work myself and I can't see myslef paying damn near half of what I paid for the bike for a yoshi kit... just me though
