King Quad Question - Why No Air Filter?
#1
Someone told me there are no stupid questions...... but I have one
While I have all my front and side plastic off I have a question
about the cooling duct that leads to the drive belt area of the
engine.
Looking inside, mine has sucked up lots of dust. Shouldn't there
be some sort of a filter for this air intake?

56Nomad belts make heat. To keep them cool, or cool-er I should say, they have a fresh air cooling system. The ducting is a way to provide the belt some air. Don't sweat dust. Water and mud is a different story.

I bought a pre-filter sock and slipped over the intake and hose clamped it. I did not oil it, jsut left it dry. I am sure it wont keep out 100% of the dirt but it sure helps.
