z400 vs 400ex

He could outrun me on a Z250 yet you Suzuki guys think 2 hp really makes a difference? Anyway, you can make any quad run if you have enough money, but Honda will sponsor their flagship. And that's not the EX anymore.
Personally, I think they are both decent quads. But my EX will run hot on a sunny 85+ F if I can't run it fast enough to get a breeze going over the motor. Does fine as long as I keep moving. Never heard of anyone's engine siezing or anything because of heat, it just costs you a little power. I think the liquid cooling would have a definate advantage in those situations. The Z would likely lose power too, just not as much.

HOLY... Thats not a good thing.
KyJoe- then I think that the ex would be great for you if you like those aspects of it. I'm not going to try and argue with you to convince you Z's are better. Havent had any problems with my frame but your right. I dont like having to worry about it. I dont jump really big yet but I do jump a lot. Mid sized jumps. about 30 ft.
StrongtyerYFZ....Well I don't like that problem but I would choose it over the Z's problems anyday. I don't want to argue with you or anyone else either but you nor anyone else can convince me the Z is better especially after riding both. Also I took a look at your bio, been riding a whole year and a half now? Pro rider? I'm guessing you to be about 18, you can't convince me of anything on this subject. I've put too much time on both of these machines and over 20 yrs of riding experience in general. I don't want you to think I'm attacking you personally and I won't doubt that you can ride but there is more than can be learned in a couple of years.

I dont know what I was trying to say when I brought up Doug Gust. That didnt really go anywhere or mean anything. Disregard that, lol.
I dont know where you got PRO rider from??? Did you get that from under my screen name. That just has to do with how many posts you have. If you have over 200 posts, I think, then it will say "PRO Rider." Thats all that is.
Well back to the original question. 04trx250ex, what do you think you are going to do? Have we helped at all or are we just confusing you and messing up your thread.
What quad does everyone think jumps better?
