Default Kehin PD27 Carb Kit from DG for LT230S/LT250S

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this carb on the Quadsports? It is also available for the LT230S. I got my quad running but the carb was so gunked up it wants to idle either High or Low/stall. I need a new slide because the stocker is so galled up that I would have to file too much away.

Anyway, retail is $155 from DG and I can probably get a deal on it so is it worth the extra dough or not?

Joe

Default Kehin PD27 Carb Kit from DG for LT230S/LT250S

I have a White Brothers Mikuni 28mm flat slide carb kit on my 87 230s. In May of 2003 it was Part # 15-355. it works best with a higher comp. piston, aftermarket cam and free-flowing air filter. If you can still get one, that is the way to go.

Oh, By the way, I pulled one of the DG kit off a parts bike i bought a few years back. I still have it if your interested. Part # on carb is DGA6BIK. Its a round slide carb.

Let me know.
