MalHombre..........do you have any further info on the oil problem? what specs it should be or anything? ANY help would be great! I have to tear this thing apart soon, and I did not know of this oil issue! Are there any other internal issues I should know about????? Thanks guys!

the chain tensioner came from jlatvproducts.com part no. ct99 1-800-233-2637. price is $32.95+tax, replacement roller are $10.95 each and replacement spring is $4.95. the way my chain tensioner hits the chain is on mostly one roller, so i'll be able to swap rollers around and keep it working before i have to buy a new roller.

Thrash, it was only the 1st run of 85s that were affected by the oiler problem.
i've heard of the 300ex fr shock swap. i think you have to modify the mounts on the frame and a-arms a little bit.
if you're gonna rebuild the motor with bigger and faster parts, start with new crank bearings and have the crank inspected. throw in a new oil pump while you're in there.
