Default LT230 performance parts????????????

I am looking for performance parts for my wifes quad. I locked the engine up this weekend, so I guess it is time to hop it up a little. Were can I get a cam, full exhaust, and a 10.5 to 1 piston? Rockymountain ATV didnt have anything but a piston. Thanks! 1986 Suzuki LT230S

Try Webcam in Riverside or a company called Powroll in California. They should have some stuff for you.

Vinces Cycle
these guys can help you out.
if you want to do anything with the suspension, Works is about your only choice and it's expensive.

hey badman, are those works shocks worth the money? i ride on sand sometimes but im more into mx, since my boss made a track behind the shop, hella convenient. i plan to run the front wheels inverted to gain some width up front. i hate how narrow this thing is. i hate you for having such a great swing arm!!! well not really, but i do love how your 'sport is coming along. thanks for the inspiration!

on early 85 quadsports, the oil journal was too small for the motor and led to upper cylinder oil starvation. when i had the crank bearings replaced, i got the journal bored out to proper spec. Suzuki issued a bulletin on this problem back in the day. my motor builder has done a few of these so he was aware of the problem and took care of it while he had the crank pulled for inspection.

the Works shocks were gawdawful expensive, around $500 for the fronts. don't have a lot of options short of rebuilding the front end to use some other quad shocks. i haven't ridden it enough to say how good they're gonna be but they are def. better than the stockers.

hey, cyanide, where'd you get the trick chain tensioner?

I believe I've read on here somewhere that guys have also used stock shocks off of 300ex's and it was a good improvement
