Default Better Business Bureau claims --King Quad 700-- bad filter!

Ok gang, i've had it with this filter problem we are all experiencing.
What i suggest is filing a complaint with the BBB and let them deal with Suzuki directly.
P L E A S E ....take a few minutes to file with them, the more complaints they get, the faster we will see a resolution.
This is a SERIOUS problem with our bikes!!

After you file, copy and paste your claim here. That way we can keep track of complaints in one area.

Go HERE to file your complaint.

Here is copy of mine:

Thank you for using the Better Business Bureau's Online Complaint System.
Your complaint has been assigned case # 6566.
A confirmation will be emailed to : xxxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com
Please print a copy of this for your records.

Filed against :
Suzuki-Yamaha of Dalton
205 ML King Jr. Boulevard
Dalton GA 30721

Complaint Description:
King Quad 700 ATV -- Suzuki is building and installing faulty air filters on these machines. It is allowing dirt/dust to enter the intake section and internally damage the engine resulting in ring cylinder failure. Nearly EVERY owner of these vehicles has experienced dirt and or dust bypassing the filter element(s) which is ingested into the engine. Suzuki is well aware of this problem, but has not initiated a recall. There have been several online instances where engines have been rebuilt because of this problem. Recommend that Suzuki initiate a recall to replace the filter and extend warranties of all models that were sold with the defective filter elements.

Your Desired Resolution:
I would like my warranty extended by 3 years and have a new filter designed. It is NOT my fault that dirt/dust has been introduced into my engine which will eventually cause catastrophic damage/failure.

This case will be reviewed by a complaint specialist at the Better Business Bureau, and then forwarded to the business for their response. It is our policy to allow the business 10 working days to respond to your complaint. You will be notified when the business has responded.

What would you like to do next?

60 views with nobody helping out?

Come on people, this will help all of us!
I am telling you that if you submit a report to BBB, Suzuki will get the message!
If you dont care that your engine will self destruct due to a fault by Suzuki, fine.

For the rest of you who DO CARE about your engine failing at 1000 miles, help us all out........PLEASE!!!

Mine is not blowing blue smoke either!.....yet.

However, i did have a substantial amount of dirt/dust being ingested into the engine. NOT GOOD!
The poor filter system is causing premature engine failure/breakdown.
It must be replaced or remanufactured by Suzuki to eliminate what others have already experienced.
I personally dont want to let my engine fail before a solution is found.

I am trying to fix the problem before others (including myself) experience it.

The bottom line is that the filter system Suzuki manufactured/installed is inferior and not able to properly protect our $7,000 machines.
