Default which big bore

I have a 2004 dvx 400 with full ct pipe pro design air filter 162.5 jets and a needle on the 3rd ring. I mostly ride dunes and I need more power so I was thinking a 450 or so big bore kit. Which brand do you all recommend?

Big Bore kits are too much of a hassle.....Yes they give a good power increase but trust me you'll end up hating your quad if you end up having to take it in for a new headgasket once a month! That's what happened to me with my '03 KFX400 I loved it right on up till I put the 440 kit in (Magic Racing). My advice to you is keep the stock bore, go up to a High Compression piston, get both hot cams (intake, exhaust). These two together should give you as much go as a Big bore but with known of the hassle!

Oh just go with the Athena 434. It won't blow head gaskets as long as you do it correctly. It is a whole slip on kit and very reliable.
