1991 lt 80 engine compression?

Does anyone know what the engine compression supposed to be on a 1991 lt 80?
Not the ratio , the actual pounds.

I friend of mine is trying to fix one for someone and hes only getting 40 lbs.
Its hard to get it started but once running it seems fine.
