Any of u guys have one? Is it too loud? If not alba then what slip on do u recommend? ive heard good things about ct also.

 

I just got an ALBA slip on on sale for 150$ , it made a 20% difference without jetting or airbox mods. I am going to put a Velocity air cleaner on and re-jet once I get good info on jet size for sea level to 2000 feet.

 

look into hmf thats what im getting after i pay my quad off

 

slip ons generally do give good power, but if i were you i would get the full system, the header gives it all that true torque

 

As far as loud, it idles pretty quiet, just throaty, when you get on it , it sounds better than FMF. My brother has a 400 EX and rode my Z400 with just the pipe mod and loves it. I wouldn't spend all the money on a full exhaust system if you go with an ALBA slip-on. If you go with a FMF, you may want a full system with airbox mod, adapter , K&N or Veoxlocity air filter.

Also, due to the carb on 05-06 Z400 . Unless you change filter and go with open air box.
