i welded it the first time. this time i am turning it in to the warranty company..

have fun...suzuki doesnt stand by anything...i welded AND gusseted my frame completely...but as far as suzuki helping good luck...the vinson's are poorly made bikes..

 

I beg to differ, I have found the vinson to be a very competent and sturdy machine,having beat the living !@#$ out of the 2 vinsons i have owned and the frame only succumed to bending when hit by a car. I have abused them in most ways (pulling tractors, jumping, hit a few trees) but you have my sympathies

 

02, 03, and 04 have the bad frames....your 05 and 06 should be a ok from what we have seen...well your 06 anyways....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

when im feeling better im gonna take some pictures of my gussets and broken spots on the frame.

i went to the dealer to speek to him,he said that since i welde the one side that it may void the warranty..
well the outher side broke also..

anyway do you have any info on the vinson frames being bad?

03 vinson cracked frame
i have a list of guys who have problems...but suzuki wont stand behind s h i t....but suzuki lost my purchase for the LTR, and i went honda again... im not susprised they said it VOID"s your warrenty. they will do anything to get outta it. let me see if i can talk to people.

I bent the frame on mine. Also broke the lower control arm. I was pretty disappointed with Suzuki and how easily the frame bent. It was a pretty light hit, but it was straight in from the side right at the front wheel. When I put a new control arm on I found the whole front end was out of whack. I took it to a automotive frame shop and they straightened it up for me. I pick it up today so I'll see how well it is fixed up. I think I'm going to have to weld in a few more gussets and braces to strengthen the frame.

 

got it back yesterday.
my cost 150 due to the winch,box,non factory skidplates..
1.they replaced the frame.

2.right wheel bearing.
3.stearing bushings...
26 parts total

$2212.00

 

Where are the weak spots? Makes me worry about mine. I take some pretty hard rides at times.
