Does anybody know where I can get a timing chain and guides? Besides the dealer

You can get the HD cam chains from D.I.D. Do not get the extra wide one becuase the bigger cam chain will rob HP. They have the stock size HD.

LS is 100 miles southwest of SLC or 30 miles north of Delta, Utah.. Great dunes, big bowls and the biggest sand racing hill in the country.. I just did my timing chain very very easy. Take the basket out. Grab the left chain guide and see where it bolts into the case. Take out allen bolt then manuever the old chain off the gear and around the 27mm nut and pull through the hole. Don't take this 27mm nut off the motor. It doesn't need to come off.. Make sure you have a 27mm socket for the basket though...

maybe after I get this running again i'll be up in SLC in the end of august
so I might just check out the dune there. and I decided to replace all the chain guides with the
new chain so I wont have problems. it will be
sometime next week when I get them, one of the guides were backorded
