Denniskirk.com sells a hotcam stage 1, i don't no where to find the webcam or megacycle cam. You can buy an 89-90 lt250s cam oem for $120 from bikebandits.com. And along with the rod bearing make sure to replace the stock rod. Mr. Crankshaft also known as vince's cycle great guy he'll do the whole thing with parts i belive for about $170ish i belive.

Vince says to stay away from "hot" anything... its made in Taiwan and cheap metal. On top of that, I could never get to the bottom of the specs for the hotcam. It appears to be a stock cam except for one outrageous number that has to be a misprint. Nobody can verify.

Webcams is a tough site to find due to all the **** popping up when you run a search for it lol! Web Cam Inc. - Performance and Racing Camshafts

Megacycle is easy Megacycle Cams

Bikebandit, rockymountainatv, cheapcycleparts, ebay are good places for parts.

Thanks Randy... which one would you go for, the webcam or megacycle?

That's the million dollar question lol! Whoever is cheaper I guess.... Webcams you have to send in your rockers and cam to be welded up and ground down. Megacycle you just buy the cam and keep your old one. Megacycle did better on the dyno software I have, the webcam actually lost HP compared to stock cams, but who knows if that really means anything... Everyone that has a webcam says its way better than stock. I talked to one guy with a megacycle and he likes it too. Vince says he always uses megacycle, but he was surprised when I told him how much lift it had, so I don't think he used them in the 230s or he would have surely known. The megacycle specs make the most sense to me, but I don't like the lift it has either. The webcam specs don't make sense to me, but lots of guys that posted here swear by that cam. I have no idea. But if you get one, post back here and let us know how much better it is!

The big bore kit works as long as you do the entire topend. The kit that was in my 230 was a cheap big bore kit that did not come with a new sleeve and it broke fast because the sleeve was too thin. The guy I got it from said it had a big bore kit and then my second ride out the sleeve shattered.

Does that make sense to you? The exhaust is open nearly all the time! 360 degrees is a circle.

So I emailed them back in 07 and got the same:

8.94 intake lift
103.5 intake lobe center
235 degrees duration
0.15mm lash

7.57 exhaust lift
100.75 exhaust lobe center
337.5 degrees duration
0.36mm lash

Dejavu... click here http://forums.atvconnection.com/suzu...ml#post2468318

"If you suspect the 337.5 to really be a 237.5, then the hotcam stage 1 is really just a stock replacement cam and not even a stage 1 (the only difference is the hotcam has a wee bit more lift)."
