nice set of lt250r a-arms bit pricy but nice if you keep the powercoated blue
1992 LT250R SUZUKI LT 250 UPPER LOWER A ARMS | eBay

what do you think about these? i would refinish the spring in red and the base in black.
88 suzuki quadracer lt250r front shocks | eBay

another question would they bolt right up to my 1988 lt230e a-arms and mounts? also would i need to extend my tie rods and brake lines?
Pretty cheap if they are in good condition

It holds the cam in place axially so it doesn't slide around. Kinda like a thrust bearing. You already have one inside your 230 now. Can just reuse it.

Its a tough call without knowing how long they are, but they may cause the tierod to hit the frame... if they even fit the 230 arms. You could add spacers under the tierod mount on the spindle or just flip the tierod end upside down. I doubt the 250r arms will fit the 230 frame. You may have to cut the bearing down in the arms to squeeze them in. And who knows if the bearings line up on the 230 frame.

Its a DG v-pro there 100 bucks. Its not actrually for the 230 its for the lt400. I modded it to fit to the 230. There are two upper brackets and two lower brackets. I cut the top ones off. The bottems one line up perfect with that 5 inch wide horizontal bar thats on your front end. I ran a bolt through that. Thats enough to hold it in place and keep it steady, but for a lil added support i had a bar welded across the bottem than i bolted that to that horizontal bar for more stabalization.

i know on the lt230s vault they showed you how to adapt lt250 a-arms to fit onto a lt230. All they did is chop the little thingy where the bolt goes through between the brackets and the a-arm. with new a-arms u would need to extend the tie rods and get longer brake lines.
see LT250S A-Arm Mod - Suzuki LT230S Vault

i know sereral people on here have used lt250r front shocks as replacements to their lt230s shocks
