Which parts of the spark plug are represented by what function of the motor from what i read, base ring = jetting, porcilian = timing/octane/preignition, ground strap or the l shape piece over the electrode is your heat range. Is that correct?

Idk... what did the webpage say? I don't read plugs. It don't work very well for me. If it runs good, who cares what the plug looks like lol

I like your theory better . Right now im following the if it aint broke fix it till it is

I didn't think this was "some modifications required" kind of exhaust the stock header has a wider diameter than the new one there is so much play side to side? and u can tell by the picture that piece of that goes into the head is so much longer the flange doesn't get anywhere near farth enough in to beable to bolt the header on.
