Default help out the new guy?

You guys are way past me, just picked up a LT230E cheap, runs good but it has a few problems. The biggest issue is an oil leak at the drive sprocket. It appears that it has a crack in the piece that holds the bearings to the case. I can not find this part or even what it is called. Can it be replaced? Also need new swing arm bearings any suggestions? If anyone would like to chat with me about these machines you can call or text me at 361-648-6886.

Are you talking about the spacer behind the sprocket?

You need to find out what model you have in your Vin# on your frame will have a Letter H I think that was the first year for that model.
or letter j-k-l-m-n-p
If you go online to www.suzukipartsmonster.com search in your model under transmission its called a retainer #46,part number 24751-35B01
and models j-k-l-m-n-p #46,part number 24751-35B10 I would also replace the O ring behind it, its #48
Let me know how you make out I have replace these before and have to bye new bolts also.
Could you post a picture of the broken part??

This is off my 1987 Suzuki LT230E QuadRunner,Model H.
The 10th letter in the frame Vin will give you your year of the quad.

That LT250s is looking good. I like my white frame, but now looking at that one the blue looks great too when it is fresh.

300ex, but they are too long for the stock 230, but are perfect for the lt250s a-arms. I got them for 220 w/ only 30 mins of ride time. They are 600 shocks so I couldnt pass up a deal like that! I finally got a straight, not destroyed frame, so now I can start the real fun! Progress pics are going to be up in the next coming weeks! The last two photos is my new 75watt lighting coil for the headlights!
