Default 85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.

theres a dg rcm from an 86 (same year as mine) on ebay. It's a little rusty. What pipe is the way to go?

Still the stock carb with a vacuum leak at the choke.. and no choke lever. I noticed the decomp. serves no purpose now with the new cam.

My tm28 carb and new maier (orange) fenders should be in this week.

What I am curious to is what am I really missing without a pipe. I'll see if the kid up the street will let me drop his cobra pipe on mine.

If you have to run the stock pipe, take the bolts out of the bottom of it. You'd be surprised how much exhaust comes blasting thru those little holes.

I did a lot of cutting and welding on mine to make it flow better. Tested the flow with a leaf blower. It works.
