<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: JustRandy

PG, when you deck a piston it means if you had the piston at TDC with the head off, you could put a straight edge on the top of the cylinder and have no gap to put a feeler gauge in above the piston. The top of the piston comes to the top of the cylinder flush. If your piston was taller than the cylinder, they might have shaved some off, but that would reduce compression so I would want a good reason why they shaved my piston! Plus, they are changing the weight of the piston and might throw off the balance of the crank and wear out your bearings! Usually you have to cut some off the cylinder because the piston almost never comes all the way up. Your piston looking different is suspicious.</end quote></div>

Looked like he just made the lil half moons a lil wider... that's it.

When i said that stock exhaust made lil difference in power,i must have been high! put my pipe back on and wow! Although i did blow the rubber cap out of rocker cover, and for the first time had to get towed home.. Had a oil soaked leg,but didnt lose 1/4 quart of oil, when i noticed it gone. fun times

270- can you point me to an online store that has the pipe?

Man I got the quad started last nite and finally got to ride it around today, the stg. 1 cam and wiseco high-cp combination is awsome! I can rip through all the gears nice. It feels like I need a pipe to get the peak hp from the cam.

Yeah, you definitely need a pipe and a kn filter. Are you using the stock carb? Put the 28mm carb, pipe, and kn on at the same time and you'll think its a 450, lol.
