So the last few times I've ridden I've noticed that in 4th and more obvious in 5th gear my trans or clutch seems to be slipping. I will have the quad in one of the two above mentioned gears and will be a approximately 3/4 throttle and when I go to full throttle The rpms increase but I don't go any faster. I only notice it in these gears and when I go approximately 3/4 to full throttle....any ideas?</end quote></div>
You need a new clutch a some stiffer springs. All the 230's around here have that problem too. The 250s has an extra clutch plate or 2. So, there must have been an issue with the 230 clutches. Also, the 250 has a lower 4th gear, closer to 3rd. I've been thinking about ordering the 4th gear for the 250 and putting it in my 230 when/if I split the cases. 4th gear is too big of a jump from 3rd. I'm either revving 3rd all the way out or boggin 4th.
My cousin is in town and I'll hardly be around posting much till tuesday... In case anybody has been wondering where I've been, lol. Who knows, maybe you guys need a good break from me. [img][/img]</end quote></div>
Thanks, I wasn't sure if I was missing something so wanted to ask...when you say stiffer springs do you mean some stiffer aftermarket springs (If so don't know who sells em) or should I look at just buying 250 springs? I've also noticed the big gap from 3rd to 4th.

If someone could look at the posted link and indicate what parts would be needed (by number) for me to repair my clutch, I would really appreciate.
Clutch</end quote></div>
Got mine at bikebandit.
Barnett #TM-8 kevlar friction plates , need 6
barnett #MT-27-5 performance clutch springs comes as a set
barnett #SP-5-16 steel plate between friction plates, you probably don't need, mine looked fine, but I figured since I had it apart might as well replace it all..
All the above fits the 250s BTW.

Lowering = no air!!! Bad for me!</end quote></div>
How much less air do you get? Im thinking about buying this and i think it would be real nice. I don't do to much jumping. All i do is like 5 feet or less tabletops. will i still be alright jumping?

the kit that I originally linked that I believe you are talking about will not. It only effects the position of your shocks not your a-arms.</end quote></div>
I did not know that!
So what is the point? What does it do for us?
