Damn!! in a picnh (with all the wear in that clutch pack) you could toss on another fiber and steel and make it last another ride almost.<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: gforce34

Measured my clutch friction plates and glad the new ones are coming in any day now... clymer manual says minimum wear of 2.4mm and measured 4 different areas on 3 of the 6 plates and averaged around 1.95mm no wonder I was slipping.</end quote></div></end quote></div>

That's an idea!

lol yeah if only my cylinder wasn't somewhere in colorado being bored/resleeved and my head wasn't at the machinist having a milling/valve job and me putting in a new timing chain w/ the stage 2 web cam and etc etc [img][/img] Once the engines put together I've got to refocus on aquiring 1987-92 +2 a-arms....omg it's just never going to end[img][/img]</end quote></div>

That's the way I feel... Only I have 3 quads to do and a building to get built. So much to do I spend most of my time just staring at a wall not knowing what to do first.

That's good to know. Wonder if there's enough room after a milling job too? And .400 lift?

I put approx. a 1/4 in of clay on the piston and with the stg 2 cam could not see where it even touched the clay. Granted, all bolts/nuts were just "snugged" not torqued. I figured that was enough?

To be honest, I think the 22.5 is a little rich for this part of the country. It does not want to idle smooth once the huffer is warm. Since its apart, the 20 may find its way back in.
