I love my 18v dewalts and there wrist breaking strength!!! I bought a couple replacement batteries at the depot after the first year, $80 each!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found a place about a year later that "rebuilds" your batteries, $20 bucks, and I swear they run 5x as long!!!!!

 

i have a 18v rigid and i love the thing its a little heavy for some jobs but thats why i have a 14.4v milwaukee. my dad has the 18v milwaukee on his work truck and he swears by it

 

How did you find the place to rebuild batteries? "Batteries" in the phonebook??? I'd pay $20 to restore some batteries! And if they last 5x longer, I wouldn't need to worry about needing a new drill for a 1/4 century at least, lol.

Yeah, Milwaukee has some good stuff! I have a circle saw by them and love it. Never used one of their drills. Maybe I should look into that....

 

hes got the package deal with the sawzall, circ saw, and drill, he also has a 1/2in 18v impact wrench. hes had them all for a few years so far and they hold up to him working on the rock and well drills he fixes

hey guys just checkin in, i rode the meadowlands today for like an hour until my throttle was stuck wide open. the black tube that goes from the airbox to the carb was only half on. so i towed it back to my truck and cleaned everything out when i got home. i cant wait to go back to the meadowlands next week, its so different from the mountains i normaly ride. when you look over your shoulder you see GIANTS stadium and parts of the trail are right next to the highway. theres no rocks and nothing stopping you from staying at full throttle besides the size of your ***** [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Cool, I might try that. There is one in Chattanooga. Limping around with only one drill is a drag!

Btw, I think my 2nd dewalt has a bent chuck too. The drill bit wobbles a bit... not as bad as the one that's at the repair shop now though. Gotta baby these things!
