Especially if you bring them up to date in 2-stroke technology. They didn't have expansion pipes n reed valves back then.

Yeah, the H2's were just like every other bike in the 70's.... A big hunk of steel on spokes with barely any suspension.

I wouldn't mind having one on a quad either.

Sounds like you just need a new clutch and a bore job... pretty simple I think...

I'd definitely get new clutch springs. I guess a bore job and a wiseco piston so long as the rod is decent. Should check out the vlaves while everything is apart.

i have been at the shop all night and got my peg problem solved without having to change stock or weld. i fear the metal is just week and they will bend so I am fabricating a plate to go between and hopefully be able to bolt the plate on and then the pegs to the plate. I am going to try to get some good lighter pegs and i think with a good design I will be knocking a couple pounds off as well.

On the shifter note I use one I got from a 300ex and it works great.

Check this out (NICE) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...r2vQa8&feature=related

Default 85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.

Hello guys, I have a question about my 230 the title says that it is an 87 LT230EH which is clutch-less. The casing that holds the rear axle to the swing arm broke. The flange that the bolt goes through that has the chain tightener attached to it is what really broke. I was thinking about just picking up a couple parts bikes but I was wondering if the swing arms and rear axles are interchangeable or if someone can tell me what year or models are interchangeable with the one I have. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated and this forum is by far the best thing out here for us new 230 owners.
