Well, I think the 250R I'd kill myself. I was thinking a 350x, 200sx or maybe a bigred 250. The 350x has always been my favorite. I like the dual headlight look and 350cc on a trike is more than plenty.

Yeah, my cousin has always had a hard on for those lights too. We don't see a ton of those on our Craigs up here though.

Ok, I'm going to wait on pics until I get the new tires on and can get a nice background.

Thanks again for the info Randy. I need to order a few gaskets before I do anything because the old owner used RTV to seal up quite a few spots on the right side engine cover. Hard telling where else RTV was used judging by the amount I found in the oil when I drained it.

Speaking of trikes, I've got an 86 Yamaha 200E and love it. It has plenty of low-end for 200cc and hasn't gave me any problems yet. Here's a pic:

I paid $400 for it, and added the extra light on the front rack and bought a storage bag for the rear. The only things I've had to do to it in the past year were mess with the electric start switch and weld a new muffler on. It's great for trail riding and has made it up some hills I never would have dreamed it would.

That's pretty clean! We had a couple of those in the family before, although I believe they were 225s, and they were pretty darn nice.

That's not a bad looking trike. I could be happy with I think. Just something different to ride and knock down the middle part of the trails.

Kinda tight, but I hate to cut down trees. Especially in the summer heat when shade is at a premium.

I know you're not suppose to, but I use rtv all the time. But I use so little, it doesn't squeeze out. Barely enough to cover the metal is plenty. Haven't had a problem yet, but that doesn't mean I won't. I think we decided before that the anaerobic stuff was best. Dansmc likes yamabond. Says it doesn't ball-up like rtv.

Those trails aren't too tight! They look just right! It gets annoying when you have to be ducking under branches and everything though. We have a lot of underbrush in MN. Our woods are thick as molasses. Even when you hop over to WI, their woods are generally less thick than ours.

Both of those pics are from Nemadji State Forest actually. Two different trips though, the top one with my girlfriend, who is pictured mastering the terrain on the Hawkeye, and the bottom one is a trip with my cousin.

Those fog lights on the Outlander are the best $14 I've ever spent on eBay I'd have to say. It took 4 years before they cracked their lenses! Not bad for being run in 20 below temps at times.

What do you guys suppose my cousin could fetch for his 250X? He's all jealous of my DVX now. He could out race me (on the dirt roads (trails I smoked him)) when I had the 230, but now I'm sure I'll smoke him good (everywhere) and he's all bummed. He has it listed for $1200

1987 Honda 250X
