Sure can... 2 of em! About $359 + Shipping. You have to send your jug in and wait for the work to be done and shipped back. Took me a month when I had mine done.

I wonder if I should sell my bb kit. I've had it a couple years and never did anything with it. I got the 250 engine instead.

Is the wrist pin diameter on the 230 the same as the 250? if not is there a piston that will it the 230 rod and 250 cylinder?

230 is 16mm and 250 is 17mm. The jugs should both be the same bolt pattern, the 250 jug is just taller.

There is a 70 and 71mm piston that will fit the 16mm rod. The 72mm piston fits the 17mm rod. You can resleeve and bore either cylinder to fit whatever piston... the only hangup is the 72mm piston will only fit the 17mm rod unless you have one custom made.

Yeah I am OK with splitting the cases if the rod and crank need to be replaced. I have done it before on a 185 LT. I was hoping to not mess with the crank and rod. Is this something that normally should be replaced with the new piston and bore job? I seen somewhere about vince cycles does rod and crank jobs for 115 bucks.

Call Vince n talk to him. The 230 is known for bad rods.

Finally got my new gas tank in this week. And got front and back brakes changed tonight. Sending it out in a few days to have the Carb rebuilt because that is out of my ability range. Can't wait to get it back up and running.
