New to the forum, and thinking of buying a vinson 500 manual shift. I would like to know if the manual shift vinson is belt driven, if not what kind of drive is it. thanks alot. Richard.

 

No belts on a manual. It has shaft drive front and back.

 

Great machine, manual trans gives it a very sporty feel. And it is completely belt free.

 

I have the manual and like it alot. It feels stronger than the auto.

 

i have an 04 vinson 5 spd. I recently installed an hmf pipe,twinair filter and jet kit. It feels as If im riding a sport quad and it keeps up with quite a few sport quads. My buddy just recently bought a vinson automatic and we went riding a couple weeks ago, we switched four wheelers for a while and when we stopped, he couldn't believe how good mine ran. there was obviously no comparison, even when mine was stock, it felt alot stronger than the auto.
