Hi everyone [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I have a 1989 Suzuki 230 Quad sport. I am rebuilding it from the frame up and was wondering if anyone knows if I can bolt in any other motors with out having to do to much mods to it. The original motor needs new rings and I would rather spend the money on putting in a 250cc motor if I can. Thanks for all the help.

 

If you can find a Quad sport 250 it will bolt right up. I don't know about any others off the top of my head.

I maybe wrong but wasnt the 89/90 Quadsport only available as a LT250S?

Yep, just 89/90 and finding an engine for one is almost impossible. I would be easier to get a big bore kit for your 230.
I don't believe there are any true bolt in engines for it. But, if you find one please let us know!

 

Does anyone know where I can find a big bore kit for the 230.
