Need help finding good winter tire for king quad
I am looking for a good winter snow tire, I use my quad to plow my driveway and to trail ride in the winter. I have 26inch ITP m/s589's on ITP c-series type 4 rims, they're horrible on ice as is any mud tire, so i would like to get a second set of tires for the winter. I've been looking at possibly the maxxis bighorns or the ITP holeshot ATR. Can anybody please help me, any advise would help, I'am tired of spinning and sliding trying to clear my driveway.

I have really liked my bighorns in the limited snow that I have been in. I also have read good things about the holeshots, aired down they will probebly put the most rubber to the ground.
Another thing you might consider is putting sheet metal screws into the big lugs on those 589's. Instant ice traction.

I never thought about studing my 589's, It's a good ideal but i wanted to buy a second set of tires and mount them to my stock rims for the winter. Has anybody powder coated their stock rims? I was also thinking about doing that. If so roughly how much did it cost.(canadian $ if possible)

I have the holeshot ATR's but they have not made it onto my quad yet. LOL. I will let you know how I like them once the fiance gets them on or I may just have to figure out how to do it myself
