hi i live in upstate NY and was wondering when getting a licence plate and you register it what it allows you yo do?Can you leagally ride on the roads?

 

Nahh, no road riding..

 

i don't know about with you but around here we need plates so if we are caught riding on the roads they can just take down our licence number instead of chasing us, also for the trail cops to see if you are riding your own bike and its not stolen

 

Same here..you get a nice bright yellow plate..
