Any one have this model? Any problems? On the fuel petcock what does PRI do? Is there an off? Also quad runs perfect but pipe glows red when its dark. Is this ok? I do need to change the intake hose that connects the carb to the head. It has a slight crack in it so it must leak some. Will that cause the front pipe to glow or is it normal to see it glow when its dark? How fast is yours? Mine almost hits 50 mph.

That crack in your manifold has you running WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to lean. Get it fixed before you kill your motor. A friend at work has one and loves it!

The crack is in the rubber hose, not the manifold. It looks like the clamp was too tight and it put a slice in the hose. The manifold is fine.

 

PRI is "PRIME"-will allow gas to flow no matter what. In "ON" gas only flows when the engine runs. My KQ headpipe glows too.

 

Any part in between the carb and the cylinder head is part of the manifold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get it fixed!

It is a breather hose?

 

Its the rubber hose that connects the carb to the engine. Rubber hose that cost me 11.00.

I just sold mine but loved it. It was the most comfortable ride I owned. I did not have a single ounce of trouble with it. I put big 589s on it and lost some power but it would go through anything. It never glowed in the dark though!! I think all of your other questions were answered.
