KQ700 bumpers
#1
Need some advise.
Those that have the Kimpex brand front bumper, how do you like them? Are they good and sturdy, good fit and finish? And will they bolt up "OK" with the aluminum shroud v/s the factory plastic one.
Rocky Mountain ATV has the Kimpex front bumpers for $ 104.99 plus S/H... Is there a better deal elsewhere???
Also, does anyone have the newer style MotoVan front bumper with the protective bars across the headlights, if so where did you get it and what kind of price are they going for? They look very nice also...
Thanks....

I have the kimpex front... I would give it a six or so out of ten on the strenth dept. It will deflect most all problems from the quad. But any high speed impact ...it's going to be gone, but on a quad, so are you...
It looks nice, it will do what it is designed to do, keep brush and such from hitting the front of the quad, and deflect some blows from the side.... but I wouldn't try to tow a quad out of a pit by attacing a chain to it... if you know what I mean.

I also have the kimpex front bumper, it mounted easilly in about 15 minutes. I too was wondering if there would be any problems with an aluminum front skid but there isn't. I have the suzuki alum skid and it doesnt interfere at all.

I have both the front and rear bumpers and the fit and finish is a 10 out of 10. I have photos in my photo link. They bolted up great to my Pro Armor plates. The rear bumper is much stronger built than the front but I don't think you will need anything any stronger. My 2 Cents!
