i actually do have a 1995 kx 80 big wheel with no motor, well no cylinder. But i dont think the cops would like a jet engine in my suburban neighborhood, and the speed limit is only 35.BUT JUST FOR THE RECORD,I LIKE HOW THE LTR LOOKS!

I've ridden and raced against the new "SUZI" and it is no better or worse than the TRX or the YFZ.They're all equally capable. The LTR might edge out the others on a motocross track due to it's wider foot print but, that very same thing will be it's downfall to the GNCC or woods racer.

I just picked up my ltr450, pulled the lid, pulled the arrestor and added the Cherry Bomb. I smoked a YFZ450 that just got jetted, full exhaust, and running without a lid. At least by 1 quad length every time. The only cost was 40 bucks for the Cherry Bomb. The Zookie with the following mods will smoke any slightly modified 450 right now. They Yamaha owners wont' agree, because they just realized their quad isn't top dog anymore. The performance is unmatched.

This guy owns one, you've ridden against one. Maybe you were the better rider, he was a $hitty rider, or a combonation of both. I own 2 Suzukis, but i was just as excited to hear the news of the 450r coming out. I don't understand this brand/quad loyalty. I'm not busting your *****, just curious why some are so prejudice against this quad, before it's really even out there. I can't wait until they're common, so we can all see what they're really about.

I'm not prejudice at all.I've ridden the new LTR and have no complaints about it.I personally don't think that any of them are any better than the other. And as someone mentioned earlier; If the LTR is so much better than the Z450's that GUST and JONES were riding last year then why are they still finishing the same.Looks like they are all chasing the HONDAS.

Just a follow up to my post, I think Yamaha makes a great 450, but the most unbelievable thing about my 450r was the horsepower gain with some ride time under the new engine, cherry bomb, lid and arrestor removal. It felt like kinda a dog stock, but since these little mods, it almost felt like an entirely different engine. I raced against an experienced quad owner with his YFZ450 jetted and piped, and he still couldn't keep up. I agree with Tanman, the engine definately improves dramatically with break-in time. I also got smoked by a stroker YFZ. How can you compete with that? Suzuki will now have their time in the sun until Honda or Yamaha tweak their 450 line. Maybe EFI for them next year? I have a full Yoshi Exhaust on order and am leaning toward putting a smaller sproket in the front. The gears feel to high??
