I have heard the paul turner is one of the better pipes out there for the Quadzilla. I currently have a fmf fatty and want to upgrade. Since LRD doesnt make theres any more, tell me why the paul turner is the best? Is it worth the extra money?

go with trinity, its the next step down from LRD

 

i had a FMF on my 500 for quite a few years and when the bike would get hot i would have a detination problem but when i swiched to the paul turner about 4 years ago it completely got rid of the detination and gave me about another 5-10mph on the hill.

 

The FMF is barely better than the stock pipe... I can't say which is better (Trinity or PT), but it doesn't take much to be better than the FMF... Don't waste your $$ on it IMHO.

I Just sold my LRD on fleabay, and it went pretty cheap compared to what I've seen in the past.

 

I thought that Dr Q had a bad azz pipe he makes also.

Well, I got the Paul Turner pipe on there now. By seat of the pants feel it moves and sounds great. I also decided to go with the standard silencer as well. I also paid extra for the chrome look. I think it was worth it but it is expensive.

Overall I will give it a thumbs up! These prices need to come down....
