My headlight is very dim when I ride. It only shines about 10ft in front of me (yellowish) I know 2 strokes are usually dimmer lighting but this thing is useless. Is there something wrong on my quad or is this normal? What is out there to fix this problem? I rode tonight and was lucky to get back safely. Any suggestions would be great.

 

sounds like the lighting coil is almost shot in the stator .

 

I have this same problem and would also like to know what it is. I have some other wiring issues though as the guy removed the key switch that previously owned it and now it doesn't have a switch that cuts it off. The headlight part over the run switch still works though the headlight just isn't very bright. I've changed the bulb and done everything I can think of but maybe it is the stator.
