LT 230, Finding/Fab'ing nerf bars, and looking to buy plastics
Getting at them, i've been busy with a few things, but i should have the main tubes bent this week!! I'll keep you posted!!!
Also i got another question have you guys ever heard of a arm widening kits, there not made for lt 230's they are made for some of the newer quads out now, they are jsut a bracket that gets bolted into the current a arm mounting holes and allows the stock a arm to be mounted 2" wider on each side, jsut wondering if any of you guys have heard of them casue i was going to make a set of them in the machine shop for the lt 230 and at least see how it works, any comments/ideas!!
Cheers

I don't know of anything like that for the 230, but that doesn't mean there isn't any such thing. If you are just looking at making the quad wider there are wheel spacers out there. I have seen them on e-bay before but I don't currently have any. All they are is donuts that bolt onto the original studs and have new studs on the outside of the donut. I think they are about 1.5"- 2" in thickness, that would give you the 4 total inches you are looking for. If I remember correct they run anywhere from $50-$100 for a set of 2.
these aren't for the 230 but you get the idea
if you scroll down the sale page and click on Suzuki they are listed fot the 230S

Yes man the pics helped a ton!! I mgiht have to weight till i get home to finish the mounting brackets, but the tubes should be bent and hopefully the mesh tabs should be done to. I'll keep you posted!!! As for those wheel spacers i have heard they are hard on suspension components and also not recomended for jumping ect... these brackets i found aren;t made for the 230's but the idea could be used. I'll tyr to find the link to the website and show you what they are. Also you seam to know a hell of alot about these quads. what mods do i have to do to air box, tube, filter ext.. to make it a open element unit increase flow i have a K&N filter but would like to suck more air!! Any help again is always good
Thanks again for all the pics they helped a tun!!!
