Default LT230 Question about starting/spark plug/shock

There is no DC lever on the handle bars on mine-just the flip lever on the head. This quad engine was rebuilt before we got it 2+ years ago and it WAS hard to kick. I had a hard time and most other people did to.Really looking foward to getting this baby on the trail. The next project is the oil leak. I know the chain breaking is a problem but what piece breaks? The outer left cover or the case that it's bolted to? I want to get rid of the leak and all will be well...Mike

from the ones I have seen the stator cover and the engine case both break right around the general area where the chain slams into it. To help prevent this you can make a chain tensioner or buy one of these from www.vincescycle.com

Yeah I have Vinc's site saved. I think I will get one and have to get the cover off and check the leak out.
Changed out the rear shock off the parts quad I have. Need something?
