lt230 vs 250x

Default lt230 vs 250x

what would be faster a lt230s it had a 28mm carb now has a 33mm carb and no air box and a stock 250x and would it out run a 300ex or worrier 350 or blaster let me know what you thank thanks

I wouldn't be so sure. There are plenty of Blasters that can really fly. 200cc 2 stroke vs 230cc four stroke? atv122, the little LT is a great quad, but it is no speed demon. I doubt just going to a bigger carb is going to give you the power to beat other quads in it's class. Besides that, you probably lost a good bit of off idle power while gaining some top end with that big of a carb. That doesn't matter as much for drag racing, but it will suck for trail riding.

well as for the 300ex I know personally that my 230S with the gearing changed and a DG pipe will out run our 300EX that is also piped with a DG and both have the stock carbs rejetted.

By gearing I meant the sprocket sizes. But I do have almost a complete left over tranny if thats what you mean. I might can help you out with some parts. I won't be getting rid of cases or anything but any gears or shift forks I might have I will be willing to let go of them, just name what you need and I'll see what I have. As for sprockets I think I went here
