Clutch Question.
#1
Ok, on my Lt-230S (1987) when I come to a stop and pull the clutch in, the machine still wants to creep foward. I have the clutch adjusted according to the manual with 2-3mm of play at the lever and it still does it. Does this mean I need a new clutch? I thought that if the clutch was bad it would slip when I am on the throttle but that does not seem to be the case as i can get the tires spinning on pavement( I do not do that a lot just onece to test the clutch). Let me know if you guys have answers or thoughts thanks.

I also adjusted to the point the cable had it partially disengaged but this did not seem right so I thought I would try to fix the problem rather than living with it, but that mey be my only option until i figure this out.
Could there be something not installed correctly if a previous owner did clutch work?

If the clutch is NOT slipping it is an adjustment issue. Also you stated you have no more adjustment, I would replace the cable as it may have stretched threw the years. Keep in mind you will burn the clutch out if it is still engaged when you stop. Best to fix it ASAP..
