I was just curious is i can fit a 2006 Suzuki Z400 and a 2006 Suzuki Z250 in the back of a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Short Bed.
My father in law is going to buy these 2 quads next weekend (well at least the Z250 for his wife, but possibly both) and i was just wondering if someone has this setup for any reason or knows the bed dimensions of that truck so i can figure it out.
I figure that if we put the Z250 upright with the wheels facing forward and the Z400 front forwards and the tailgate down we should be ok.
Right?
Or what else should i do?
Please let me know any suggestions.
Thanks,
Brian

i have a 03 quad cab and with my 400 i have about 3 inches. good luck getting 2 in there. cant you borrow a trailer??? i wouldny try and put both in there, you'll probably mess your truck up trying when you could probably borrow 1 and save alot of time and trouble. my own .02..

I mostly ride MX stuff so i don't know much about fitting quads in the back of trucks. So i really have no idea what will fit or not, i was just askin. If you say just 3 inches, than that bed is pretty dang short bed i guess. If he decided to buy the 250 and the 400, then maybe i will have to bring down my truck as well (Tundra short bed).
We have no access to a trailer right now. He is looking into getting a toy hauler in a few months, but i was just seeing if 2 quads would fit for now.
Thanks for the info though.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that we are driving to LA to pick them up (4 hours south) so it isn't like i am just driving to a local shop.
Good to be safe though. I wouldn't want to be jamming those in the back of the bed if it would be that tight.
