Default Decision Time Honda or Suzuki 250

My son has always wanted the LTZ and I asked him to wait until the Honda came out and we'd take a look. Well he loves the looks of the Honda and likes the new non stall clutch system. He's ready to take on the ole' shifting thing. LOL
I wanted to get some opinion on the Honda vs. the Suzuki.

Speed
Maintenance
Reliability
Etc.

He feels they are both ergonomicaly comfortable
The pricing I have worked out
3700 OTD for the Suzuki
4400 OTD for the Honda
700 is a lot of accessories, what do you guys think??

In my opinion, honda makes good quality machines. But if it were up to me id probably buy the suzuki becasue its cheaper, this way i can spend that extra money on aftermarket parts. exhaust, nerfs, etc. And if hes a new rider you can get him some good equipment as well. But thats jsut my opinion. If you dont want to spend any money on mods jsut buy the honda. this is such a hard decision to make tho becasue i love my suzuki hahaha good luck making your decision

He has a Polaris Scrambler 90 but its time has certainly come and gone, he needs a bigger quad.

He does like the idea of saving money to go with some aftermarket goodies, his ceiling is 4400.00

Tribal decals
Nerfs
Shock Covers
Carbon Heat Shield
ETC.

He has all his gear but could use some new boots.

All opinions Welcome.

I bought my daughter the Honda 250 EX............very low maintenance, dependable and good preforming machine. I would think you would save money in long run with Honda for two reasons:
1. Used aftermarket accs are easier to find and less expensive (probably)
2. Resale will be higher on the Honda when he eventually graduates form the 250.

Just my 02 cents.......
