Default QUADRUNNER HELP

i got a 1986 suzuki 250 and i got a scuff on the cylinder,its not deep but its still there.i got a new head and base gasket and was wondering if i should bore the cylinder or not and if so by how much.its never been bored before.its lacking in power greatly and its starting to smoke.i figured you guys are pros,youll know the answer.can someone tell me the correct valve settings.

maybe you could have your cylinder deglazed. may or may not do the job. and if it smokes you should buy new rings, especially if they havent been changed in 20 years

by deglazing you must mean to hone it out?because it didnt have the power it should have

idk what honing is but maybe its the samne couldnt tell ya lol. Deglazing is when you take a special brush with wires that have little ***** at the tips that fits your cylinder, you put the brush on a drill press, and you go up and down the cylinder at a low speed.

yes thats the same thing as honing,it takes the shine off the cylinder.how bad was your cylinder before you did yours.i seen on the caption you did yours.
