I am going to pick my eiger up tomorrow at dealer about 175 miles away. Does anyone know if it will fit in back of a 05 silverado crew cab pickup? The beds on the crewcabs are way smaller than normal. If not I am gonna carry a trailer. My 300 has a hard enough time with the tailgate down. Thanks

 

I have and '04 short box ext cab and my '05 eiger is about 3 inches to long, I have to put the tailgate on and angle or leave it down. I put it on an angle so that I don't get rock chips in my tail gate.

 

It will fit fine, although you will have to keep the tailgate down. My brother has the same truck as you, with the shorty 5' - 4" bed. He can haul his Prairie 650 in it and that's including an extended rear rack. A stock P650 is the same physical size as an Eiger.
