Id watch the chain tension. To many of these excellent machines have turned up on ebay do to the dreaded "CHAIN CAME OFF" syndrome. If your chain tension is off you can wind up with C.C.O.S. shortly after landing. That may be why you have a parts machine in the first place

You know , if your jumping that 230 to much your going to need a pilots license...................................lol

haha superevil ... the only risk you would have is ruining the shocks and if that happens the fluid will start shooting out but its a risk you take while riding. The a arms should be fine along with the swingarm unless the shocks are shot already then you will have a really nice comfy landing

Hay! Big air needs good shocks. Anybody with a 230 needs to check this out.

Yes, jump away. As you suspect, big air will eventually do some damage with the stock shocks. However, as long as the frame is solid and the shocks are whole, I see no reason to abstain from getting her airborn. I used to jump mine riding double back in the day. Of course, I was much younger and a bit foolish back then

As long as were on the subject of breaking stuff. Does anyone have a line on a 230s crankshaft? I need one thats either good or in good rebuildable shape.
